Farmers Meet 2020

A Farmers meet on the theme ‘Organic Farming Entrepreneurship’ was organized as part of JAIVAM- sponsored project at Mahatma Gandhi University campus on 12^th February 2020. Organic farmers in and around Kottayam district participated in the event. The inaugural session began at 11AM with prayer. Dr. Santhosh. P. Thampi, Principal Investigator, JAIVAM-sponsored project & Hon. Director, Inter University Centre for Organic Farming and Sustainable Agriculture (IUCOFSA) welcomed the audience. Adv. P. K. Harikumar, Member Syndicate and Chairman, Organizing Committee, JAIVAM gave the presidential address. The programme was inaugurated by Prof. (Dr.) C.T. Aravindakumar, Hon. Pro-Vice Chancellor, Mahatma Gandhi University. Dr. K Sabukuttan, Registrar-in-charge, Mahatma Gandhi University and Sri. K. V. Dayal, Organic Farming Course Coordinator, Dept. of Life Long Learning, Mahatma Gandhi University felicitated. After that, Dr. Jils Baby Emmanuel, Research Assistant, JAIVAM- sponsored project proposed the vote of thanks. Farmers Meet-2020
